A journey through fiction and reality, merging international cinematic expressions with local artists’ site-specific works.  “Melting Walls” volume one contains a selection of visionary moving image works exploring the fluid metaphor, trying to transcend linguistic and cultural boundaries. From Tokyo’s streets to the hidden tunnels of US, these cinematic narratives paint diverse stories of our interconnected world. The work of the artist collective Protoplast is blending cultural elements with the environment illuminated by a mise-en-scène projection. These installations serve as a metaphorical bridge, symbolising the dissolution of barriers and inviting reflection on identity, connection, and shared humanity in a fluid world.
